"As a figure competitor and an owner of a fitness Boot Camp and a personal trainer, I have been a student of nutrition both for myself and on behalf of my clients. I thought I knew everything there was to know about eating for optimum health... When I started the new outdoor adventure boot camp I interviewed many Registered Dietitians, Nutritional Consultants and Naturopaths... I was not impressed with any of them. Not only was their information standard knowledge, they did not look healthy themselves. What a relief it was to find Aaron who is a living example of his profession. Not only does he radiate glowing health and vitality, he is so passionate and devoted to his subject that he is incredibly motivating and inspirational. In addition to this, his information is current, backed by the latest scientific research. He really knows his stuff... he is a walking encyclopedia for optimal health... I give him my highest recommendation and not only do I recommend all my clients use him... but I use him for my competitions and overall health and well being.  Thank you Aaron for taking our boot camp to the next level with your incredible knowledge and inspiring presentations.  The ladies are constantly wowed by you and your information. You really do change lives."

"My mother was a health nut and I was raised on spirulina, bee pollen and organic everything since I was a little girl. I thought I was pretty healthy... but I had no idea the stresses that I was needlessly putting on my body because of my lack of awareness about how the body works. Teaching me how to give my body what it needs to work best was the greatest gift I have ever given myself. An avid fitness enthusiast I rely on my body to stay healthy and perform at its best... I thought it was but since working with Aaron I am healthier, happier and I have more energy than I knew I could. All with simple, easy changes to my diet. I feel great... and that is worth everything. Thanks for the wake up call."

Dear Aaron,

I just wanted to let you know how much I value and appreciate what you have done for me and my family. It has been a slow process for us. At first we started by just drinking more water. We didn’t enjoy it at first, but eventually we got used to it and then we wondered how we went so long without it. Then we cut out milk and replaced it with soy or rice milk. That is when I noticed that the kids had a significant decrease in runny noses and trips to the doctor. I also went from 50% water, 50% apple juice to 75-90% water (gradually). That seemed to help even more. We were trying to eat better, and proud of the changes we had made, but not willing to spend the extra time or money on taking our diet to the next level. Until one day my husband started complaining about severe abdominal pain. Within a week I had a call from him saying that he was driving himself to the urgent care but didn’t know if he could make it on his own because the pain was so bad. The doctor didn’t have a lot to say, gave him a prescription that didn’t work, and $40 later we weren’t any closer to a solution. They ordered some tests, but they couldn’t fit him in for a month or more. He would drag himself to work, try to manage, and come home and crash in bed for the rest of the evening. Two weeks out from moving to a new house, we wondered if we would have to reschedule. As a last resort, my husband called you Aaron because he had tried everything else. You put him on a strict diet, which I decided the whole family needed to be on. And at first it seemed hard. The preparation took longer, but now I just accept it and I am used to it. Once he felt better we were able to expand our diet. When you were able to accomplish in days what the medical doctors couldn’t do, we were ready to make some real lasting changes. We were able to make our move to the new house without any health problems. My husband canceled the tests ordered by the doctor. You helped our family to get on a high quality multi-vitamin, and helped us to understand how important it is to monitor what goes into our body. And how so many ailments are a result of deficiencies in our body. I had my own problems I was dealing with. Now that we had the basics I was ready to tackle my own problems. I was on an anti-depressant and thyroid medication. I also struggled with a lack of energy, especially in the morning. I have followed your advice and now I am off all prescription medications. And I am feeling better than ever. I have tried to get off of both medications before only to have to go back on them. I know that it is through following your recommendations that I am able to stay off of my medicine. I have more energy and feel better now than when I was following an exercise program. Now when I exercise it really does make me feel better. In the past, I was happy if it didn’t wipe me out for the day. Thank you for helping our family. I can only imagine what we had to look forward to if we had continued down the same path.

Eternally grateful,

AH Blythe, CA

To the skeptic, and those who are serious about improving their health:

About 6 months ago, I weighed over 230 pounds.  I felt sluggish, tired, and easily agitated.  Aaron, a very good friend of mine, suggested I consider doing a colon cleanse, followed by a liver and gall bladder cleanse.  I was skeptical, but optimistic about the results of doing such a cleanse because Aaron had thoroughly educated me on the importance of ridding the body of toxins and achieving excellent health through proper nutrition.  Well, six months have past and I've completed two cleanses.  I've lost 37 pounds, improved my HDL and LDL (bad) cholestorol counts, changed my eating habits and thinking about nutrition.  I have also shared my results with other friends and family, and they have decided to embark on this life changing journey to achieve similar results.

I'm thoroughly convinced the way to achieveing excellent health is through regular cleansing of the colon, liver, and gall bladder, along with proper nutrition and moderate exercise.  Anyone who is concerned about their health and personal well being should strongly consider doing the same.

The darkest day of my life was on Jan. 13th 2006 @ 0730 a.m. Friday the 13th at that!

On this day I received a phone call from our county medical office advising me, that my routine blood test came back positive for Hepatitis C. She went on to also add that my Liver Function Levels were elevated, which is a direct condition of the Hepatitis virus attacking the liver. The nurse advised me to immediately stop sharing drinks with family members, cover up all wounds, start using protection during sex, etc. etc. There I was standing in my garage, just getting ready to head out for the day, and bam! I was just told I have an uncurable virus in my body.

As you can imagine, my whole world was turned upside down. In the next few days I was being told how the Hep.C virus would do this to my body, and that to my mind. Best of all I was even given an amount of time to live by someone in the medical field… Talk about pressure!

With-in the first week after Friday the 13th, my family doctor had me re-test. By re-testing he confirmed the positive Hep. C. test. He spent a good 20 minutes sitting with me, telling me what little he knew of the virus, treatments, what to watch out for and things to do. My doctor told me he would have to refer me to a specialist who deals with this virus on a daily basis.

I took the number for the specialist from my doctor, and immediately gave him a call. Just as my new luck would have it, the specialist could not get me in to see him for 30 days. “I just love HMO’s.” Stress and worry were starting to overcome me, and hindering me from doing my daily duties. I even thought one night I was having a heart attack, if it wasn’t for my sister and brother n law to calm me down, I just might have!

I had 100 questions in my head, 1000 fears to face, and no doctor in sight for the next month to ease my worries from a medical standpoint. At this time I made the choice one-week into this diagnosis, to beat this virus myself. I made the commitment in a short period of time, to take on this virus.

I needed to recruit some help though….

First and foremost I recruited my Lord & savior Jesus Christ to be my doctor for healing and faith. I got my hands on Naomi Judd’s, “Breakthrough Guide 20 choices to transform your life,” book. Other then the bible this was the only book I read. Naomi, beat this same virus that decided to invade my body, and I wanted to know how she did it. Last but certainly not least, I sought out the help of Longliveyou.com nutritionist Aaron Hermanson.

I gave Aaron what facts I knew of my diagnosis. All the bad stuff of course, like what the Hep.C virus was supposed to do to me, and how long I was told I had to live, etc. etc. Aaron in a calm voice told me that I could relax, I was not going to die of the Hep. C virus. Aaron went on to explain to me that the Hep. C virus attacks the liver, and liver failure is the end result of the virus. Aaron further went on to explain that the Lord, Naomi Judd’s Book, Aaron, and myself were now a team. We would come up with a nutritional plan to super charge my immune system to suppress the virus and build a protective shield around my liver so no harm comes near it.

I wanted to tackle this virus head on with my new team. I gave my life and soul to the lord, and my open mind to the guidance of holistic medicine.

A month or so had past since Aaron had given me our course of action vs. the virus. I followed it to the T. I read my bible versus and Naomi Judd’s Book everyday. And, I added to my diet…Garlic, lots of water, milk thistle, liquid multi vitamins, etc. He laid it all out there for the Lord to bless, and for me to follow through with.

I took my first blood test 40 days into the nutritional plan. My cousin is a phlebotomist, so I asked her to run a liver function test on me. I wanted to see if there were any noticeable results yet from my new found faith, knowledge, and nutritional plan. One hour later she called me and said, every single test had came back in the normal range! No more elevated LFTs, proteins, just perfect. I immediately called my nutritionist Aaron Hermanson to tell him my findings, and how great I felt. I thanked God 100 times in a sixty second period, and I kissed Naomi Judd’s book, thanking her also for the good news.

The very next day, I finally had my appointment with the “Specialist.” He began to explain to me the do's and don’ts of the virus. The more and more he talked the more I began to worry again. After about 10 minutes of his non-stop talking, I finally asked if I could ask him a question?

I began to explain to the “Specialist”, on what I have been doing to combat the virus. Exercising, reading books, my faith, and nutrition. I started to tell him what exactly I was putting into my body, and he told me to stop taking the vitamins, milk thistle, etc. immediately! He continued to tell me that everything I was doing was only harming me that the medication treatments he would administer later in time, are the only way to go.

Leaving that appointment I came to the cross roads in my life once again. Do I trust in my holistic medicine program that I felt gave me the normal liver test results, OR, do I put my trust in a “Specialist”, who has handled hundreds of cases just like mine.

After a short period of time and looking at the pros & cons, I decided to continue on the holistic medicine path that I felt was making a difference, but trust in God that he would use the doctor only as a guide for me.

Fast-forward two months later after my meeting with the “Specialist”, I had a liver biopsy surgery, the specialist wanted to see if there was any liver damage caused by the Hep. C. (Note: I had already been on Aaron’s nutritional plan for 3 months at this point.) The biopsy results came back 10 days later, and my liver was healthy, with no damage!

When the good news was reported to me regarding the Liver biopsy results and 4 months into our teams program, the “Specialist” sent me to have a blood test to get a reading on the exact amount of the virus that was in my blood stream. He had told me that this blood test, is the test that all Hep. C patients have done, and it would give him the info. he needs to place me on a pharmaceutical medicine treatment plan involving interferon and others. (I don’t know if you have ever heard of the Hep. C treatments, but if you have not, they compare it to chemotherapy, & the Hep. C treatment is for 48-52 weeks! So, I hesitantly went a head and had this next blood test done. Even though I had already made up my mind to this point that I was not going to take the Hep.C medicine treatments. I was going to trust my team of God, Naomi Judd’s book, and Longliveyou.coms Aaron Hermanson to guide me to great health.

On May 4th 2006, I was sitting there in the exam room at the doctor’s office. I knew this was going to be the day that I was going to be given an ultimatum in the “Specialists” eyes, because according to him, everything I was doing up until that point did not matter. According to him only pharmaceutical medicine was going to save me, and beat this virus back.

There I was, sitting there in the exam room chair. There he was sitting there in front of his computer, and my medical file. He was not saying anything to me, nor was I offering up any conversations. I just wanted to know where I was at with this thing, and how much of the virus invaded my body, so I could move on good or bad news.

He would place his hand on his chin, open my file, close the file, click on the computer, and open the file again. This went on for a while.

Then he spoke; “Andrew, you are a fortunate man. I’m looking at your file, and your recent blood test that’s supposed to tell me the exact amount of the virus in your blood stream.” He asked me if I wanted to see the results myself, so I walked, I mean I ran over to him and he began to explain; “When you originally had the Hep.C blood test in January it showed a positive test, with elevated LFT’s. You showed all signs of infection, and the virus was active. But, according to this last test, which is thee Hep. C test to determine how much of the virus is in your blood, and our course of medical action, the virus amount does not read on the report.”

After he saw the puzzled look on my face he began to tell me, that this test is what all doctors use, and according to this blood test report I now have a minute amount if any, of the virus in my blood, that’s not readable any longer on a test result report.

He concluded by saying that in medical terms on paper, I am no longer considered Hep. C positive. The “Specialist” stood up held out his hand and said; “lets have you retest in one year to check things out and get a confirmation reading that the virus did not relapse. But other then that have a nice life, I’ll see you when you are 70!”
